Disaster Relief Team (Houston)


Dates: Tuesday, October 10 (Evening Departure) - Saturday, October 14 (Early Morning Return)

Cost: $200, if you have completed the Disaster Relief Training and paid your $36 we will reduce your trip by that amount.

Age Restriction: 13+ with parent/guardian 

Projected Relief Efforts for this Trip: 18+ will be able to help in the "Recovery Phase" which will be installing dry wall for one bedroom and one bath getting them to the point of painting for now.  Once this is completed on all houses, the teams will go back around and help with the remaining dry wall needs in the remainder of the house.  13+ with at least one parent will be able to participate in community efforts focused on prayer walking the neighborhood, talking wtih people and feeding where needed. 

Transportation: We will fly to and from Houston, picking up rental cars in Texas.

Housing: We will be staying at a local church, will need to bring a twin air mattress, sheets, toilteries, and work clothes/shoes.
